Prior to blueEHR, Mr. Hameed, has over thirty years’ experience in the Healthcare IT industry as a senior technology consultant and software systems architect.

Effective in strategically enabling mission-critical enterprise and e-Business solutions, while working with multifunctional teams business and technical staff and management, he has successfully deployed business solutions to meet the needs of healthcare organizations.

He is the industry leader in the development and implementation of eHealth solutions, known for his expertise and experience in planning, deploying and integrating electronic medical records solutions to 100s of healthcare organizations in the United States and abroad.

Early in his career, in 1989, he founded a software company that developed hospital management systems that implemented HMS solutions to hundreds of hospitals, in India and the Middle East.

He also served as the Chairman of OEMR, a (501(c)(3)) non-profit formed to ensure that all people, regardless of race, socioeconomic status or geographic location, have access to high-quality medical care through the donation of free, open-source medical software and service relating to that software.
